Our main product is the Sound English series of fifty small books and three related software packages. The series offers a phonic-based approach to early literacy with content aimed at adults and older teens.
The software offers the same text and illustrations as the book, to which are added male and female human voices speaking the whole sentences and individual words on demand. An educated Australian accent is used. The software also includes sets of related questions, activities and spelling exercises, as well as a facility for students to write and print their own versions of the stories using the existing illustrations.
Sound English is used widely in adult education courses, community education facilities, beginner English classes, prisons and high schools.
