Strong Nations Publishing is an Indigenous owned and operated publishing house and online bookstore located in Nanaimo, British Columbia, on the traditional and unceded territory of the Snuneymuxw First Nation. We aim to uplift Indigenous voices and provide accessible literature that promotes Indigenous knowledge sharing and language revitalization. We specialize in the publication of Indigenous children’s and young adult literature and educational resources. Since opening in 2010, we have published 370 titles in English, French, and Indigenous languages.
Additionally, we are an online bookstore with over 6,000 Indigenous books and resources in our catalogue.
