Tsinghua University Press, established in June 1980, is a comprehensive university press headed by the Ministry of Education and sponsored by Tsinghua University. In April 2009, a wholly state-owned enterprise owned by the whole people was transformed into a limited liability company. In October 2014, Tsinghua University Publishing Group was established. As a leading comprehensive education and professional publishing institution in China, Tsinghua News Agency has won the titles of "National First-class Publishing House", "National Excellent Publishing House", "National Advanced University Publishing House", "National Top 100 Book Publishing Unit", and "China's Most Copyrighted Enterprise".
